This investment representative position provides advice and guidance to prospects and clients seeking to establish long:term investment strategies. By using effective profiling tools, the advisor seeks to build strong, long:lasting relationships and recommend appropriate solutions for client needs.
Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains high standards of customer service through creating and maintaining an active, ongoing contact and follow:up plan
Demonstrates competence in dealings with prospects and clients, as well as demonstrates an effective ability to make recommendations and close sales
Employs thorough understanding of products, investment strategies, investment research and financial planning
Effectively profiles clients to assess objectives and investment horizon
Creates Centers of Influence to build referrals from other professionals and organizations
Demonstrates professional conduct, adheres to firm guidelines and selling practices, and complies with all FINRA and State Insurance and Securities laws
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a polished professional with a strong knowledge of financial products and markets plus a proven track record of financial product sales. He/she will possess high ethical and moral character and demonstrate competencies in effectively dealing with prospects and clients. In addition, he/she will be organized, have strong written and oral communication skills, and possess an analytical thought process.
Requirements:
3+ years experience in an independent advisor position with a national or regional broker dealer, wirehouse or insurance company
FINRA Securities Registration Series 7, 63 (Series 65 or 66 preferred)
200,000+ minimum annual production
Accreditations and Designations preferred
State Insurance License preferred
Bachelors degree from four:year college or university and a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
