We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Hands:On QA Release Manager/Lead. Ideal Candidate would be hands:on, innovative, energetic and detail:oriented responsible for test planning, execution, requirements analysis, resource planning, and identification of deliverables. Additionally he/she will be responsible for meeting key deadlines for a diverse array of technical and creative projects. This position will be responsible for SaaS release and QA coordination for multiple software products.Participate with colleagues and prospective customers to refine scope and estimate for critical products and deliverables.Remove obstacles blocking key team deliverablesUpdate project milestones in JIRA project management tool.Plan, organize and kick:off sprints for the team of product owner(s), developers, QA and other teams when requiredDevelop Test Cases, contribute to automation framework, develop scripts and product deployments in engineering infrastructureResponsible for performance, scalability and reliability tests. Create Reports and provide feedback on where the product needs improvement on recurring basisWork with Program Management, Support and Operations teams to create a smooth escalation handling and deployment process.Create and guide development of product documentation.Administrator level knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system(s), VMware.Hands:on experience in deployment of applications on Tomcat, WebLogic Scripting skillset (Perl, JavaScript) is required.Very good knowledge of databases and able to write and understand complex queries.Experience with automation tools like Selenium is required.Experience with Loadrunner and/or Jmeter is required.Experience with API testing is a plus.Hands:on experience with Software configuration management tools like Git, SVN or perforce is highly desirable.Experience in Hadoop, Vertica is a plus. Experience:3+ years of management experience and 7+ years working in QA.Adept at leading teams using Agile, scrum methodologies.JIRA and Confluence or other ticketing/wiki system experience.Maintain a positive, team:oriented attitude that inspires confidence and motivates teammates to meet challenges head:on.Experience implementing best practices for testing, release and operational support.4 year BachelorA?s Degree or equivalent experience required.
